Hematopathology focuses on diseases of the blood and lymphoid system. Our hematopathologists work closely with hematologists and oncologists to define patient conditions, such as leukemia and lymphoma so that appropriate therapy is chosen.

Our doctors also help monitor therapy with a variety of technologies by evaluating follow-up specimens, including blood, bone marrow and solid-tissue samples.

Diagnostic capabilities include multi-parameter flow cytometry, single and multicolor immunohistochemistry, and CISH.

The hematopathology division releases coordinated reports, including morphology, immunophenotyping and molecular/cytogenetic/FISH analyses.

Since its inception, our service has grown to include consultation services for other pathology groups and other providers seeking second opinions.
